Join the South Asian Studies Council and Y-RISE as we host the launch of Scott MacMillan’s ‘Hope over Fate: Fazle Abed and the Science of Ending Global Poverty’, the untold story of BRAC and its influential founder. The event will include a moderated panel discussion, during which BRAC and Y-RISE will announce a new partnership to investigate, in the spirit of Abed’s legacy, the science of scale and the science of hope. This will be followed by a reception with light appetizers and drinks from 6- 7pm ET on the Luce Hall lawn
