Partnering with AACC (Asian American Culture Center), on October 29 we hosted artist Jaime Sunwoo (SY ‘14) from New York City to discuss the history of SPAM, the canned meat, in the Asia-Pacific and its connection to war, class, and nostalgia. Jaime shared her process creating multidisciplinary performance project, Specially Processed American Me. AACC student group made the famous Korean Army Stew using SPAM meat for everyone to taste.
