(WTNH) - Yale University will have their first ever World Tai Chi Day event on Saturday, April 28th.
The event is organized by Yale-China Association, Aiping Tai Chi Center in Orange, and many generous sponsorships through Yale organizations.
Executive Director of Yale-China Association David Youtz recently joined a group of New Haven citizen in Changsha, China, where Mayor Toni Harp and her Changsha counterpart Mayor Hu, made New Haven and Changsha sister cities.
Event schedule:
10am - 11am: Tai Chi Demonstrations
11am - 1:15pm: Tai Chi and Qigong Workshops
1:15pm - 2pm: Tai Chi Demonstrations
2pm: Raffle Prizes
The event is free and open to the public and begins at 10 a.m. at Henry R. Luce Hall.
