Last Wednesday, November 15, ANY and WWN wrapped up the 2017 Women’s Leadership Series with a captivating talk by Yale’s First Lady Marta Moret. Marta candidly discussed her experiences growing up in a Puerto Rican household, the challenges she faced in her education and career endeavors, and how she overcame these challenges to become a leader in her field. Marta also gave a glimpse into her marriage to President Peter Salovey and how she balances being first lady with pursuing her passions. Marta’s wit, honesty, and advice made this a truly inspirational and memorable event.
