It’s almost hard to believe, but Thanksgiving is right around the corner. In keeping with one of our favorite traditions, the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) is seeking members of the Yale community who are willing to open their home on Thanksgiving to one or more of our international students and scholars.
This is a wonderful opportunity for international students, scholars, and their families to share this traditional American holiday with a local family, and to experience the warmth and generosity of our local community. Every year students and scholars tell us how much they appreciate and enjoy being a part of a Thanksgiving celebration and learning about local traditions. By registering to become a host, you can play an active role in helping our international community feel welcomed and a part of New Haven during this holiday season.
If you have room at your Thanksgiving table and can commit to hosting one or more students/scholars, please fill out our online host registration form.
