Women’s Clothing Drive

Yale’s affinity groups and the New Haven Club-NANBPWC Inc are hosting a Women’s Clothing Drive through Monday, April 17th. All donations will be given to Life Haven Shelter for Women and La Casa Del Inmigrante to help support women succeed. Visit a donation location near you, or we are happy to pick up your donation. Please contact Erin MacDonnell or Megan Nance with any questions.

Mother’s Day Outreach 2023

Yale’s Affinity Groups, Yale Police Department, New Haven Fire Department, New Haven Police Department, CT Police, Yale New Haven Health Smilow Cancer Hospital, Yale Cancer Center, and Greater Purpose are partnering to collect toiletries and cosmetics for mothers at Life Haven, The Apt Foundation, and The Kinship Program. Items are being collected through May 3rd. Donation boxes have been set up around campus. Additional donations can be ordered directly from our Amazon wishlist.

A talk in conjunction with the Beinecke Library building-wide exhibition, “Revisiting the Past—Imagining the Future,” on view through July 9.

International Women’s Day

Join Yale’s Affinity Groups to celebrate International Women’s Day in various locations across campus on Wednesday, March 8th, from 11:30 am– 1:30 pm. Stop by a location near you to get a flower for yourself, or someone you know, to celebrate International Women’s Day. Suggested donation of $1 per flower is welcomed, while supplies last, to benefit the Connecticut Women Education and Legal Fund (CWEALF).
